Our Beginning....

How We Met
We really do believe in fate…Raised thousands of miles apart from each other, Nate in Encinitas and Ang in Durban, it took two people from different countries to introduce us.

Angela met Belinda 5 year’s prior at work and completely coincidentally she too is from South Africa. Belinda moved into San Elijo Hills with her beloved husband and cats, true to form she quickly made friends with neighbors and soon the “larkspur parties” began.

Larissa met Ang at a Larkspur Halloween party and together her and Belinda started plotting and scheming. Larissa grew up with Nate, her parents are friends of Cyndee and Jim and her brother was Nate's room mate. Shortly thereafter there was another party, this time for Larissa’s husband Damon’s birthday. This was their chance to get us in the same room.

Ang arrived late but the second she stepped up the last stair she noticed Nate across the room and immediately felt like a school girl. They talked and drank wine and talked some more...You could say "they hit it off"

Dating
Two weeks after meeting one another, Nate finally called Ang for a date. Their first date was a casual glass of wine at Buca Di Beppo. After many dates, mostly at Pizzicato…Nate asked Ang if she would like to be his girlfriend. That was January 10, 2008. Needless to say Pizzicato holds a very special place their our hearts. Heck! They may even get married there! They could not stand to spend one day away from one another, every moment of every day was exciting, they got to snowboard, wine taste, sail, trips, ride bikes, eat fancy dinners, party, relax on the beach and more and still, they wanted more of each other. They are best friends.

Soon it was time, it was inevitable and made sense. Ang moved into Nate’s condo in San Elijo Hills, (not too far from Belinda and Larissa) with her two Yorkshire terriers, Mr.Scruff and Bede. Life could not be better for the “love birds”.
